Battery 

Officers were called to the 100 block of W. Boughton Road for the report of a battery, police said. The subject approached and then punched the victim in a vehicle at 12:20 a.m.

Jan. 2 

Possession of drug equipment, air rifles 

Brian Houlihan, 23, 17 Cherry Dr., Minooka, was arrested at 8:21 p.m. and charged with possession of drug equipment and air rifles following a traffic stop at Lily Cache Lane and Orchard Drive, police said. 

Battery 

Officers were called to the 100 block of W. Boughton Road for the report of a battery, police said. The subject approached and then took the victim’s iPhone, threw a bottle breaking windshield and then ran off at 10:10 p.m.

Hub caps removed from business vehicle 

Hub caps were removed from a business vehicle parked on the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive between Dec. 30 and Jan. 2, police said. 

Obstructing justice, possession of drug equipment 

Joseph Blakemore, 26, 842 Beech Dr., was arrested at 8:21 p.m. and charged with obstructing justice and possession of drug equipment following a traffic stop at Lily Cache Lane and Orchard Drive, police said. 

Jan. 1 

Fireworks, possession of explosive devices 

Kevin Zehme, 46, 1627 Praireview Blvd., was arrested at 12:03 a.m. and charged with fireworks and possession of explosive device after a call to the area, police said. 

Driving under the influence 

Efrain Cruz-Diaz, 24, 688 Sheffield Ln. was arrested at 4:42 a.m. and charged with improper lane use, improper turn at intersection, illegal transportation of alcohol and DUI following a traffic stop on the 500 block of N. Pinecrest Road, police said. 

Battery 

Vanessa Martinez, 26, 6017 Ogden Ave., Cicero, was arrested at 2:35 a.m. and charged with battery on the 500 block of Remington Boulevard, police said. 

Dec. 31 

Theft 

Officers were called to the 300 block of Quadrangle Drive for the report of a theft, police said. An iPad was taken from the victim who was attempting to sell it through Craigslist. The potential buyer grabbed the iPad and ran from the area at 6:50 p.m.

Catalytic converter cut 

A catalytic converter was cut from a vehicle in a parking lot on the 755 block of Remington Boulevard between 7:30 a.m. and 1:02 p.m., police said. 

Driving under the influence 

Rigoberto Gramajo-Diaz, 34, 2823 N. Keating Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 11:07 p.m. and charged with improper passing, no valid license, illegal transportation of alcohol and DUI following traffic stop at Boughton Road and Miner Drive, police said.
