No One In Custody After Home Invasion Saturday In Bolingbrook: Police

Police said they are aware that there have been reports of similar events in nearby towns, and they are working to see if those are related.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — No one is in custody after a home invasion was reported Saturday night in Bolingbrook, according to Bolingbrook Police.

Police told Patch that officers responded at 10:45 p.m. Saturday to Farmside Lane for an in-progress home invasion. Officails said officers learned that two unknown people forced entry through a residential front door and fled when confronted by the homeowner.

Police said they are aware that there have been reports of similar events in nearby towns, and they are working to see if the crimes are related.
