Monday, April 24

Numerous tools stolen from vehicle

A Sawzall, cordless hammer drill, circular saw, drill and CPS recovery machine, valued together at $1,900, were stolen from a vehicle between April 24 and April 25 in the 500 block of Fillmore Lane. Reports state the door lock was damaged on the vehicle during the burglary.

Tuesday, April 25

Violation of order of protection, aggravated stalking

Felix Contreras Jr., 30, 1769 W. Christopher Ave., Romeoville, was charged with violation of order of protection, no insurance, driving on a suspended license, an in-state warrant and aggravated stalking at 6:46 a.m. in the 200 block of Juniper Lane.

Aggravated domestic battery

Steven Beckley, 52, 364 Pheasant Chase Drive, was charged with aggravated domestic battery and resisting a peace officer at 6:30 p.m. following a call to the residence.

Purse stolen

A purse was stolen from a vehicle between 7:30 and 9:55 p.m. in the 300 block of Hummingbird Lane. Reports state a window to the vehicle was broken during the theft.

Stolen package

A package was taken from the front porch of a residence between 1 and 3 p.m. in Westchester Court.

DUI

Felix Lopez, 26, 23105 W. Renwick Road, Plainfield, was charged with improper lane usage, improper use of registration, and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:27 a.m. following a traffic stop at Algonquin Court and Seneca Lane.
