Seeing Smoke Around Town? Prescribed Burns Underway in Bolingbrook
Two prescribed burns have been reported around Bolingbrook this week -- one near Janes Avenue and 83rd Street and another near Whalen Lake near the DuPage River.
We've heard from several residents about fires seen around Bolingbrook. Both of those fires you've told us about -- one near Whalen Lake near the DuPage River Tuesday and another Wednesday near Janes Avenue and 83rd Street -- are prescribed burns.
