Several Bolingbrook Vehicles Burglarized: Police

Vehicles parked across the village were broken into during Aug. 27-Sept. 8.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Bolingbrook Police Department said that several vehicles in the village were burglarized and vandalized during Aug. 27- Sept. 8.

Sept. 8

  • Two tires were flattened and an unknown liquid was poured on a vehicle parked on the 1300 block of Remington Boulevard at 5:19 p.m.
  • Numerous electronic tools were taken from a secured vehicle parked on the 700 block of N. Pinecrest Road between Sept. 5-8. Loss was valued at $1300.
  • Officers responded to the 700 block of Rebecca Lane for several shots fired at a parked vehicle at 11:31 p.m.

  • A vehicle parked on the 200 block of Sunshine Drive was rummaged through overnight. Nothing appears to have been taken.
  • A 2018 Ford Fusion was taken from a driveway on the 1400 block of Carriage Lane between 12:15 – 2:46 a.m.

Sept. 2

Officers were called to the 300 block of Pueblo Drive for criminal damage to property. The mirror of the vehicle was damaged and the door was dented.

Sept. 1

Several vehicles were rummaged through on the 500 block of W. Briarcliff Road, the 100 block of Springhill Drive and the 100 block of Oakwood Drive overnight. A wallet, garage remote and keys were taken.

Aug. 31

A power washer was removed from a business vehicle parked on the 500 block of E. Boughton Road between Aug. 29-31. Loss was valued at $350.

Aug. 30

A purse was taken from a vehicle parked on the 700 block of E. Boughton Road between 10:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. Loss was valued at $260.

Aug. 29

A vehicle parked on the 100 block of Grant Drive was rummaged through overnight.

Aug. 27

A vehicle parked on the 100 block of Davis Court was rummaged through at 12:30 a.m. Nothing was taken.
