Several Burglaries Committed In Bolingbrook Businesses: Police

Several businesses in the village suffered a string of burglaries between Aug. 15-24.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Bolingbrook Police Department said that several businesses in the village suffered a string of burglaries between Aug. 15-24.

  • Aug. 24

Officers were called to Aldi located at 351 Brookview Lane on report of a retail theft. Unknown subjects exited the store at 9:40 a.m. with a cart full of unpaid merchandise.

  • Aug. 23

Officers responded to Noodles & Company at 137 N. Weber Road for report of a theft. Five outdoor chairs were taken sometime overnight and the loss was valued at $200.

  • Aug. 21

Officers were called to Menards at 290 N. Bolingbrook Drive for report of a theft. Unknown subjects entered the store at 11:08 a.m., selected an item and exited the store without rendering payment. Loss was valued at $310.

On the same day, Dominquez Torrijos, 28, of 2516 Waterbury Drive Woodridge, was charged with theft from Macy’s at 645 E. Boughton Road at 5:10 p.m.

  • Aug. 15

Officers responded to a business on the 700 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive for report of a burglary. A hole was cut in the tarp to gain entry at 5:30 p.m. An iPad, paging systems and three pop-up tents were taken. Loss was valued at $2,300.
