Spirit Of Giving Event Planned At The Promenade Bolingbrook

BOLINGBROOK, IL — United of Will County will hold its annual Spirit of Giving event at the Promenade Bolingbrook on Saturday, according to the shopping center.

There will be various activities offered which support those in need this holiday season. You can register for a one-hour time block from 11 a.m. to noon, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. or 2 to 3 p.m. at the Promenade Bolingbrook, 627 E. Boughton Road.

The storefront next to Hot Rags will be turned into a "magical winter wonderland," the shopping center said.

During your time block, you can do activities like creating a stuffed animal for a child in need, crafting holiday cards and ornaments for seniors, or assembling care packages for the homeless, the shopping center said.

It is $5 per guest.

You can also bring an unwrapped toy and be entered into a raffle to win a $100 gift card to H&M, according to event organizers. Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be at the event for a meet and greet and story time for guests.
