State Rep. Manley Highlights Monthly Food Pantry At Bolingbrook HS

The RX Mobile Food Pantry is offered on the first Tuesday of every month at Bolingbrook HS.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — On the first Tuesday of every month, free milk, meat, fruit and vegetables are offered at the RX Mobile Food Pantry at Bolingbrook High School, according to a release from State Rep. Natalie Manley's office.

This month, Manley's staff volunteered to hand out food to residents; and were joined by staff from the offices of State Rep. Dagmara Avelar and State Sen. Meg Loughran Cappel. The service by legislators was planned to spread awareness of the RX Mobile Food Pantry and to learn about and assist in its operation, according to a release.

The RX Mobile Food Pantry is a collaborative effort between Valley View School District, Northern Illinois Food Bank, Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital and VNA Health Care. The RX Mobile Food Pantry is made possible with food donated from the Northern Illinois Food Bank and is periodically hosted at various locations.
