Thieves Smash Car Windows, Steal Purses on St. Patrick's Day: Bolingbrook Police
Thieves broke into two cars along Weber Road March 17, according to Bolingbrook police.

Someone broke into two cars on the same block of Weber Road March 17 and stole several items inside, according to Bolingbrook police.
In the first instance, someone broke the window of a car parked on the 1000 block of S. Weber Road and stole two purses, a laptop and laptop case between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. The loss was valued at $1,900.
In the second, two windows were broken to a car parked at Tilted Kilt, 1051 S. Weber Rd. Two purses, a makeup bag and an iPad were stolen between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The loss was valued at $500.

On March 20, someone entered an unlocked car parked in the 200 block of Recreation Drive and stole a purse, keys, laptop, wallet and an Apple tablet between 4:40 p.m. and 4:55 p.m. The loss was valued at $2,500.
