Valley View Soccer Players Named To All-State Team

WILL COUNTY, IL — Two Valley View School District soccer players were named to the 2023 Illinois High School Soccer Coaches' Association All-State team, according to a release from the District.

Bolingbrook High School senior Aaron Palacios-Chanel and Romeoville High School senior Isaiah are among the IHSSCA’s selections as the top players in the state, the District said. Isaiah is also the 2023 Joliet Herald-News Boys Soccer Player of the Year.

Both high school teams had successful seasons this fall. According to IHSA, Bolingbrook's team lost to Naperville Central, 1-0, in the regional championship; and Romeoville made it to the first round of sectionals, before losing 3-1 to Naperville North.
