Vehicle Search Leads to Drug Charges
Investigation of a vehicle driven by Plano resident Nicole B. Gomez, 20, revealed several small bags of what officers believed to be heroin, according to police reports.

A woman was arrested after police said they found her with bags of a substance they believed to be heroin.
officers were on patrol at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday when they said Plano resident Nicole B. Gomez, 20, failed to stop at a stop sign in the 600 block of North Ashbury.
While conducting a traffic stop of the vehicle, police said Gomez displayed “furtive movements and was excessively nervous.”

Further investigation revealed Gomez had several small bags of what officers suspected to be heroin, which totaled approximately five grams, police said.
Gomez is being charged with possession of a controlled substance, delivery of a controlled substance and a traffic sign violation, according to police reports.

She was taken into custody, processed and transported to Will County Adult Detention Facility. Her vehicle was also seized.
