VVSD Teacher Creates 3-Monitor Classroom For Remote Learning
AP economics teacher at Bolingbrook High School, Michael Rende, is adapting his teaching methods to best serve the students.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Like most school districts in the state, the Valley View School District also decided to opt for remote learning amid the pandemic, paving way for the teachers to use innovative methods while serving the students.
AP economics teacher at Bolingbrook High School, Michael Rende, has developed a classroom set up with three monitor screens. The largest contains the Zoom window of his students, a second screen is where he manages the curriculum materials, and the third is where he can see the chat window so that he can always see current questions and feedback from students.
This fall, the district will feature various classrooms throughout the district to show how teachers are adapting their methods of instruction to meet the needs of their students who are learning from home.
