Wild Fight at Bolingbrook Gas Station Lands 9 in County Jail: Cops
The combatants were swinging crowbars and driving at each other, police said.
Officers were sent to the gas station to break up a fight and found the combatants swinging crowbars, firewood, signs and “anything else they could get their hands on,” and “using vehicles as weapons trying to run each other over,” police said.
When the officers got there, “some subjects entered vehicles and tried to flee and others tried to flee on foot,” police said. “One dark colored SUV was stopped by patrol and was occupied by Demetrius Rogers and Mennae Boyd. A Second silver SUV also fled from the scene and was believed to have been driven by Elton Dorsey who decided to walk back to Speedway.”
The rest were arrested at the gas station, police said.
“Speedway requested complaints for the damage that was caused to their property which included the damaged signs and the wood that was for sale,”police said. “Another female victim stated her car was damaged during the melee by a crowbar and she also wished complaints.”
The following were arrested and charged with felony mob action, aggravated battery, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property:

- Frank Weatherspoon, 19
- Marcus Keith, 19
