Will County Jobs: Machinist Trainees, Home Aides, Bus Drivers

Job seekers are invited to join the first Will County job fair of the year next week.

JOLIET – Area job seekers are invited to attend a the first local job fair of the year next week at the Workforce Center of Will County.

Eager candidates can visit the center from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3. Among positions employers will be looking to fill are CNC machinist trainee, forklift operators, home care aides/homemakers, materials handlers, school bus drivers, transportation aides, and warehouse associates.

WCWC Manager Susan Flessner says the events allow job seekers to meet with several employers at once.

“These job fairs are an efficient way for both job seekers and employers,” she said. “Someone looking for a job can make many contacts in one day and employers are able to interview people on the spot.”

The Workforce Center of Will County is located at 2400 Glenwood Ave., Suite 100.

“The Workforce Center of Will County is the place to go to find a job,” Will County Executive Larry Walsh said. “Susan Flessner and her staff work hard to organize these weekly job fairs that bring multiple employers to one location at one time.”
