Wisconsin Man Arrested After Traveling To Meet Minor In Bolingbrook: Cops
After the incident in Bolingbrook, police said the man was later stopped by the Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin Police and taken into custody.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — A Wisconsin man was arrested Tuesday after traveling to meet a 15-year-old girl in Bolingbrook and physically assaulting her, according to Bolingbrook Police.
At 8:44 a.m. Tuesday, Bolingbrook officers responded to a welfare check for a 15-year-old girl on South Bolingbrook Drive. Police said the investigation revealed that the girl was picked up on Fernwood Drive by Irvin Ivan Saucedo-Guardado, 20, who the girl knew through previous communication on social media.
The two traveled together in a vehicle to the 100 block of South Bolingbrook Drive, where the girl got out of the car after being physically assaulted by the Saucedo-Guardado, according to police.

Officers were able to get a license plate from Saucedo-Guardado's vehicle using area license plate readers and witness statements, police said. This information was broadcast via the Illinois State Police Emergency Radio Network, and Saucedo-Guardado was later stopped by the Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin Police Department and taken into custody.
"Our Detectives are working with the Mount Pleasant Police Department, Racine County District Attorney’s Office, and the Will County State’s Attorney’s office to finalize charges and extradite Saucedo-Guardado back to Will County," police said in a release. "Final charges are pending review by Will County State’s Attorney Jim Glasgow’s office."
