• Child Network's new executive director gets settled (shawlocal.com) — The Child Network, based in Bradley, has a new executive director, Brianne Hetman, who is preparing expanded volunteer recruitment and outreach in 2026 as child abuse cases hit record levels. She’s urging local residents to consider serving as court-appointed special advocates to support abused children in Kankakee and Iroquois counties.
