ā¢ Future teachers thrive in RBHS Educators Rising Club (rblandmark.com) ā Riverside-Brookfield High Schoolās new Educators Rising Club is giving Brookfield-area students hands-on experience preparing for teaching careers, and theyāre already winning regional competitions at Triton College. Club leader Kendra Cagle and several RB seniors and underclassmen are exploring everything from elementary and special education to family and consumer sciences, hoping to help address the national teacher shortage while inspiring future classrooms.

ā¢ D208 board OKs intention to issue up to $4.5M in bonds (rblandmark.com) ā Riverside-Brookfield High School District 208 plans to issue up to $4.5 million in bonds to improve accessibility between the school and Brookfield Zooās overflow parking and upgrade extracurricular facilities. At the same meeting, the board approved a 2025 tax levy increase that will raise taxes 4.95% on new properties and 2.9% on existing ones, while older debt rolls off. Ā Ā Ā
