• Two Injured in Crash at West Main and Delmar in Salem (southernillinoisnow.com) — A Brownstown resident, 37-year-old Melissa Schilling, was injured in a two-car crash at West Main and Delmar Avenue in Salem Monday afternoon and had to be extricated from her vehicle. She was taken to Salem Township Hospital, while the other driver, from Centralia, later sought treatment and received a citation for failure to reduce speed.
