CHICAGO — After being closed for weeks following a kitchen fire, Bad Hunter has reopened. The fire broke out Nov. 20 and everyone was evacuated safely, the Heisler Hospitality restaurant group said. Guests were also evacuated from the neighboring Lone Wolf and Au Cheval.
The fire began in the grease chute, according to the Chicago Fire Department. Firefighters had to open the roof loft to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported.
Bad Hunter has been closed since while repairs were made to the building.
