Early Voting in Chicago Opens October 22

Don't want to deal with crowded polls on Nov. 6? Here's where you can vote early.

With 22 days until Election Day, those wishing to avoid the craze at the polls can vote early starting Oct. 22.

Early voting goes until Nov. 3, according to the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners website, and voters can use any early voting site in the city.

Registered voters need to show a government-issued photo identification.

Here are the closest early voting locations for Bucktown and Wicker Park, from NBC Chicago:

32nd Ward - Bucktown-Wicker Park Library 1701 North Milwaukee Avenue
Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday

1st Ward - Goldblatts Building 1615 West Chicago Avenue
Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday

2nd Ward - Access Living 115 West Chicago Avenue
Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday
