Explore Bucktown's Architecture: 21-Stop Walking Tour

If you're looking for a way to explore—or re-explore—your own neighborhood, we may have found it for you.

Perhaps you're new to Bucktown. Or, maybe you've lived here for a while but aren't observant. It's possible you've seen all the "spots" but want to re-explore them.

That's why Curbed has stepped in with a selective "Architectural Walking Tour of Bucktown."

"Our 21 mapped sites hit on the diversity of the 'hood's buildings, primarily in its housing stock," the publication reports. "Our selections are meant as highlights in an area impossible to overrepresent owing to its great variety in style and taste."

The list includes the Coyote Building, new Walgreens in the old Noel State Bank, Saint Mary of the Angels Church, and the Urban Treehouse.

"Many lesser sites are not known by proper names, so you'd probably not know to look for them," the story says, citing several residential masterpieces around the Bloomingdale Trail.

Check out Curbed for a look at the landmarks and tell us in the comments what you think of the staff's selections.
