HT fall sports....Tigers Def. Disney 2....advance to Regional final

In a nail biter, the Tigers bounced back from a game 1 loss and turned back CPS foe Disney 2 by scores of 18-25, 25-20, 25-23.

The victory moves HT to Thursday's 2A regional championship match -- 10.26.23. The Tigers will face the host Christ the King Gladiators in the 6pm title match.

The Tigers last appearance in a 2A regional title match was in 2018 when they defeated Disney at the Christ the King regional.

HT. 7-10 overall. The Tigers were led by Sophia Serrano (22 of 23 serving with 19 service points, eight aces, 18 set assists and 1 kill); Madison Richter (11 kills, two service points and an ace); Hannah Barnes (11 kills, five service points, 4 aces); Valery Ramirez (6 service points, 3 aces and 5 digs); Danica Lara (5 service points and 3 digs); and Zari Young (2 kills).
HT serving. 68 attempts with 63 made for a 96% average and 13 aces.
