HT Gbk moves to 2-0; defeats Deerfield Rochelle-Zell 52-17

Chicago Holy Trinity Lady Tigers moved to 2-0 on this unique season, traveling to Deerfield to face the Tigers of Rochelle-Zell and in the process, the visitors defeated the home squad by a final score of 52-17.

The Lady Tigers were led by Kyra Hayes with 19 points, which included four treys and Jalyssa Diaz who added 16 point and two 3 three-point goals made.

The visiting Tigers moved out to a 23-8 halftime lead and never looked back, outscoring the hosts 29 to 9 in the second half to secure the victory.

Leading rebounders included: Kamila Solis and Anaya Davison, both with 6 each and teammate Dioseline Hernandez who added five.

Rochelle-Zell's leading scorer was #4 who total six points on the night.
