HT Winter Sports -- Gbk: HT tops visiting Rochelle-Zell 52 to 48
The Lady Tigers improve to 2-2 overall; and 1-0 in Chicago Prep play; The HT boys open the 22-23 season with 3 straight wins.
HT improved to 2-2 overall and 1-0 in Chicago Prep Conference play with a thrilling 52 to 48 win at home.
Holy Trinity featured Jalyssa Diaz (20 points); Diamond Young (16 points), Anaya Davison (10 points) and Nayanah Mahone who added 5 points to the mix.
Rochelle-Zell was led by Cohen who was the overall leading scorer for this game with 21 points. Teammates Haliunt and Singer combined for 13 and 12 points respectively.
The host Tigers trailed Rochelle-Zell 22 to 16 at the half, but outscored the visitors 36 to 26 in the final 16-minutes of play to capture the important conference win.

HT stats: fg%: 20 of 56 for a 36% avg. And 3 for 9 from outside the arc. The Tigers totaled 36 rebounds (8 offensive and 28 defensive) and added 12 steals, 11 assists and six blocks.

HT varsity boys opened the 2022-23 campaign with three straight wins on the road.
They opened the season defeating Uplift 63-33 on Nov. 21st.
The next night the Tigers upended Roosevelt 55 to 32, and on 11/23 Alcott was the next victim, falling to the Tigers by a 62 to 32 count.
