The Lady Tigers let a 5-point lead slip away in the final minutes of play; drop home opener.
HT opened their 2022-23 season @ home falling to visiting Juarez in a one-point game.

General stats for HT: HT was 15 of 52 from the field -- 29% And only 2 for 11 from beyond the arc. They totaled 15 offensive rebounds and had 24 defensive boards; and added 5 assists with 10 steals.
Leading the way for the Tigers (0-1) were Jalyssa Diaz with 11 points and Diamond Young with 10. Teammates Anaya Davison pitched in 8, while Nayanah Mahone added 6 and Natalie Vazques had 2.
Juarez featured overall leading scorer of the game, D. Johnston who had 19 points. Teammate De. Perez added 8.
