Thousands Vote Early in Bucktown, Wicker Park

Bucktown and Wicker Park is in 29th place in the race for early voter turnout so far. Can you guess which neighborhood has the most people going to the polls early?

Early voting wrapped up Saturday in preparation for Tuesday's big election, and thousands flocked to the area’s designated station to cast their ballot before the rush on the main day.

As of Friday, 3,603 people headed to the Bucktown-Wicker Park Library at 1701 N. Milwaukee Ave. and voted early. That’s the 23rd highest early voter turnout compared to the other wards in Chicago, with the 19th district – which covers the Beverly neighborhood on the South Side – coming in first place. 

The last day for early voting was Saturday, according to the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners website, where voters could use any early voting site in the city.

2nd Ward - Access Living 115 West Chicago Ave. Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday
