Arcade Games Approved for Xtreme Trampolines

The amusement facility has received permission to install up to three dozen machines.

Xtreme Trampolines patrons will soon be able to do more than jump. The facility this month received permission to install 36 arcade games.

The business currently offers only three games. Some of the new games will dispense tickets that can be redeemed for prizes at automated machines, General Manager Joel McClellan said.

"There will be a mix of video games. We are sensititve to violent games and we'll select games that are appropriate," he said.

"We believe that video games will fit nicely with our customer base and our facility and will enhance the customer experience," he added.

The request required an amendment of the facility's special use permit. Trustees unanimously approved the request on March 4, following last month's 6-1 approval by the Plan Commission.
