As demonstrated in her renowned series “The Princess Diaries,” upon which two Disney movies were based, Cabot’s novels feature female protagonists with a quick wit. “The Bride Wore Size 12” focuses on the shenanigans of a former pop idol turned detective, Heather Wells, as she faces a ghastly mystery as her wedding quickly approaches, while maintaining her dry sense of humor and hilarious pop culture references.

Cabot’s other books include “Allie Finkle’s Rules for Girls” (tween), “The Princess Diaries” (teen), “Avalon High” (turned into an original Disney Channel movie), “Queen of Babble” (adult), and “Boy Meets Girl” (adult).
