Bedding Reported Stolen from Storage Unit

ANIMALS

Officers located a stray dog that was running in the roadway at 6:29 a.m. Oct. 24 at Checker and Dunham. The dog was caught and returned to its owner, whose address was listed on the dog’s collar. 

DRUGS

Maurice A. Price, 24, of the 9900 block of Holly Lane, Des Plaines, was charged with possession of marijuana, no muffler and a driver’s license restriction violation at 8:14 p.m. Oct. 23 at Barclay Boulevard and Aptakisic Road.

LOST PROPERTY 

A resident reported a lost Passport on Oct. 23.

PHONE HARASSMENT

A resident reported receiving several phone calls Oct. 24 from a person telling him he won $2.5 million. The resident recognized this was a scam and hung up on the caller. 

THEFT

Multiple items were reported stolen from Walgreens, 1225 Dundee Road, between Sept. 27 and Oct. 20.

A complainant reported a down comforter was stolen from inside a secured storage locker between April 23 and Oct. 17 on the 500 block of Aptakisic Road.

A complainant reported the theft of a front license plate from their vehicle between Oct. 21-22 on the 1100 block of McHenry Road.
