A Buffalo Grove family is working to raise awareness about prostate cancer and invites residents to join them at a Sept. 15 fundraising walk.
Jerod Loeb, who was diagnosed at age 62, and his wife, Sherri, hope their experience will benefit others, according to a Patch announcement from Eve Swire.
“Although you may be extremely bright and knowledgeable once you enter the health care system as a patient you tend to become deaf, dumb and blind,” Sherri Loeb said in the announcement.
