Buffalo Grove FD Lieutenant Retires, Celebrates Last Shift

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The Buffalo Grove Fire Department led a walkout ceremony Wednesday morning at Station 25 to congratulate Lieutenant Mark Anderson on 28 years of service to the village. On Monday, the fire department announced Anderson's retirement on social media.

Wednesday's ceremony followed the completion of Lt. Anderson's last shift. He was promoted to lieutenant back in February 2017.

On Monday, the fire department also announced firefighter/paramedic Daniel Pasquarella’s promotion to lieutenant. His promotion was celebrated during a Monday night event, according to the department.
