Buffalo Grove Pianist Wins International Music Award

A Stevenson High School sophomore will play piano at Carnegie Hall in New York City on Monday, the Stevenson Daily Digest reports.

Allen Wang won first place in the 2013 American Protégé International Music Talent Competition. Wang is one of 27 students from around the world to win the award. All of the first place finishers will perform at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall Monday at 11:30 a.m.
