Car Seat Check Up Event This Weekend

Certified child passenger safety technicians from the Buffalo Grove and Wheeling Police Departments will make sure your car seat is fitted and installed properly this weekend. The Safe Kids check up event will be held on Saturday Sept. 17 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Walmart, 1455 E. Lake-Cook Rd.

Safe Kids runs over 8,000 car seat inspection events across the country. It is free of charge and no appointment is necessary. For more information, contact Dorann Swanson with the Wheeling Police Department at dswanson@wheelingil.gov.
