Did you know that today, Aug. 6, is National Fresh Breath Day?
Yes, there is indeed a day for everything.
But, as we all know, avoiding bad breath is important — that is, unless your goal is to keep people at a safe distance. Then, by all means, rock on with your "bad breath" self.
All joking aside, WebMD offers some tips on how to avoid — and get rid of — bad breath.
- Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
- Avoid drinking too much coffee.
- Don't drink too much alcohol.
- Don't smoke.
- Chew sugarless gum, which WebMD says can help reduce cavities, too.
- Use sugar-free mints in moderation, and avoid sugary mints.
