Harassment, DUI, Domestic Battery: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

The Lake County Sheriff's Office arrested a number of local residents on a variety of criminal offenses and crimes over the past week.

WAUKEGAN, IL — The Lake County Sheriff’s Office made a number of arrests over the past week involving local residents and a variety of criminal charges.

Local residents are reminded that criminal charges do not equate to a guilty finding and that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Robert F. Kegley, 70, was arrested on Nov. 15 and charged with harassment through electronic communication and disorderly conduct. Bond was set at $250,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.

Desmond D. Balentine, 45, Zion, was arrested on Nov. 16 and charged on a warrant for aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol and on a new charge of obstructing identification. Bond was set at $250,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 30.

Steven Ckrebo, 39, unincorporated Gurnee, was arrested on Nov. 16 and charged on a warrant for aggravated domestic battery, aggravated battery, and domestic battery. Bond was set at $350,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 7.

Diego Duarte Delgado, 52, Sun Prairie, Wis., was arrested on Nov. 16 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a revoked license. He was released on $3,000 personal recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 14.

Scott C. Whalen, 45, Round Lake, was arrested on Nov. 16 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He was released on $3,000 personal recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 4.

Megan E. Bos, Beach Park, was arrested on Nov. 16 on a warrant for driving with a revoked license. Bond was set at $50,000 and she is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 1.

Trininka Hicks, 29, Beach Park, was arrested on Nov. 17 and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She was released on $30,000 personal recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 14.

Molly A. Curtis, 30, Round Lake Beach, was arrested on Nov. 17 and charged with criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct. Bond was set at $1,500 and she is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 2.

Gregory Flesher, 59, Beach Park, was arrested on Nov. 17 and charged on a warrant for disorderly conduct. Bond was set at $5,000 and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.

Andrew H. Field, 51, Chicago, was arrested on a county work release program and charged with possession of a controlled substance in a penal institution and possession of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $50,000 and he was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.

Charles Altman, 49, was arrested on Nov. 19 on a warrant for disorderly conduct. Bond was set at $250,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.

Michael E. McCoskey, 45, Ingleside, was arrested on Nov. 20 and charged with burglary to a vehicle. Bond was set at $250,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 30.

Julie E. Nicholds, 52, Franklin, Wis., was arrested on Nov. 20 and charged with driving on a revoked license and on a warrant for DUI out of Winnebago County. Bond was set at $5,000 and she is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

Banuett Valdivia, 30, Antioch, was arrested on Nov. 20 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. She was released on $3,000 personal recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 28.

Tristan Johnson, 21, unincorporated McHenry, was arrested on Nov. 21 and charged with domestic battery. Bond was set at $35,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 8.
