Hearing Scheduled In Battle For Buffalo Grove Village Board Seat

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — A hearing requested by Buffalo Grove Trustee David Weidenfeld is scheduled for Thursday morning in Chicago, as he asks Cook County court officials to throw out a legal challenge to his spring victory filed by candidate Soojae Lee, according to the Daily Herald. Lee is asking a judge to order a recount of all ballots in the race for the third of three seats, after finishing two votes behind Weidenfeld, the news report said, adding that Lee claims a partial recount this year shows some votes for him may have gone uncounted for.
The hearing is set to take place at the Daley Center in Chicago.
