Kids Rock Out with Mickey, Minnie in Buffalo Grove

As it turns out, you don't always have to travel to a Disney theme park to meet Mickey and Minnie. Sometimes, the famous mice come to you.

That was the case Wednesday, when a group of kindergartners received a visit from Mickey, Minnie and cast members from Disney Live! Mickey's Music Festival.

The children, who participate in the Buffalo Grove Park District's Discovery Kids kindergarten enrichment program, took a break from their routine to decorate paper guitars and learn the steps to Disney's "Rock the Mouse" dance. 

Wearing miniature mouse ears of their own, the children rehearsed the dance for a few minutes before Mickey and Minnie joined the fun, dancing with the kindergartners and giving them high-fives and hugs.
