Samuel Cizek, 89, died July 7.
He was the beloved husband of the late Esher (nee Grossman); loving father of Bashi (Roger) Packer, Gerry (Barbara) and Sherry (Philip) Magid; adored zaide of Zehava (Ophir) Agassi, Michael (Rachel) Packer, Laura (Yekutiel) Aloni, Stephanie (Yaakov) Rothstein, Cory Cizek and Molly Cizek; cherished great-grandfather of Anabel Packer; and dear uncle of many.
He was a Holocaust survivor.
A service will be held at noon July 8 at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd., Skokie. Interment will be in New Light Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his memory to United States Holocaust Museum, 100 Raoul Wallenberg Place, Southwest, Washington, D.C., 20024, would be appreciated.
