Virtual Programs Offered By Buffalo Grove Park District
A number of virtual recreation activities are available through the Buffalo Grove Park District.
BUFFALO GROVE, IL — Although all Buffalo Grove Park District facilities are closed through May 30, a variety of virtual recreation programs are being offered by the park district through the month of May.
Buffalo Grove residents and nonresidents are able to participate but must first register on the park district website and create an account. Because staff is working from home due to the coronavirus pandemic, it may take more than 24 hours for the account to be set up.
"As the stay-at-home order continues through May, we are shifting instead to offer virtual programs online," Buffalo Grove Park District Executive Director Ryan Risinger said in a letter to residents. "This virtual recreation program guide is filled with online programs for people of all ages. We hope that we are able to reopen our facilities and go back to our regular programs soon; but in the meantime, our staff will continue to work hard to provide more and more virtual classes for the community to enjoy at home."
