Anji Silloriquez receives Heart and Hands Award from LeadingAge-IL
Life Enrichment Coordinator embraces creative programs

Life Enrichment Coordinator Anji Silloriquez of King-Bruwaert House (KB) - Burr Ridge has been recognized with the 2024 LeadingAge-Illinois Honoring Excellence Heart and Hands Frontline Staff Award during the organization’s annual conference held July 30-31, at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center. The award honors Anji for embracing person-centered care and services that go above and above her regular duties. She received accolades for enhancing and enriching the lives of residents by creating outstanding programs that connect to their needs, values, and interests. Having exceptional technical and creative skills, Anji has also enthusiastically shared her talents and expertise with residents, staff and other KB departments, assisting them with Facetime sessions, presentations, equipment set-up, and training. She maintains a strong work ethic and consistently takes the initiative to be a team player by always having a willingness to help others.
Anji joined KBH in 2017 and held reception and administrative positions before transitioning to the Life Enrichment Department.

Her willingness to help others on a daily basis is remarkable and she truly gives her heart to KB.”
