Anne M. Jeans Students Qualify to Compete in Championship Next Month

Two sisters that attend have qualified to compete in a national rhythmic gymnastics competition in Florida next month.

First grader Emilija Ivanauskaite won 3rd place in Level 3 in the Illinois and Indiana State Rhythmic Gymnastics Competition. Her sister, second-grader Patricija Ivanauskaite won second place in Level 5 of the same competition.

"These girls have been involved in gymnastics for several years ... They are quite talented and lovely young ladies," said Anne M. Jeans Principal Debbie LeBlanc.

The girls train at the Elite Sports Complex in Downers Grove.
