Backpack Blowers Go Missing

A local business reported at 9:15 a.m. that more than $500 worth of its landscaping equipment had been stolen in the 16W200 block of South Frontage Road, police said.

The stolen items, police said, were two backpack blowers. The case is currently under investigation.

MONDAY, APRIL 22

Residential Burglary Reported

Police said a resident of the 8800 block of County Line Road reported at 4:19 p.m. that forced entry had been made to the resident's home and several items, including some jewelry, were missing.

Police did not provide any information about a suspect, and the case is currently under investigation.
