Burr Ridge Mansion Sells for $3.75M

BURR RIDGE, IL – A house on Burr Ridge's Johnston Road sold for $3.75 million in late November.

The sale was first reported by the Chicago Tribune's "Elite Street." The property was owned by Gregory Zeman, former vice chairman of Vernon Hills-based CDW Corp., the newspaper said.

The house, which is at 8724 Johnston Road, was listed at $4.9 million in July.

The Zemans bought the property for $995,000 in 2006. They built the house a couple of years later.

The 11,000-square-foot house consists of six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a six-space garage, a pool and a half basketball court.

Last year's property tax bill was $33,167. The property was assessed at $1.5 million, more than $2 million less than what is sold for.
