BURR RIDGE, IL – The owners of a $1.8 million house are asking Burr Ridge to annex their property.
On Monday, the Village Board is set to vote on annexing the five-acre property at 10S370 Madison St.
The property features a tennis court and a pond, called Mirror Lake. The 9,000-square-foot house includes six bedrooms and five bathrooms.

The property was sold in July for $1,775,000, according to real estate websites. It was listed in March for $1,799,000.
According to a village memo, the owners requested to be connected to the village's water service. Under a 1992 ordinance, a property in this area must be annexed before getting connected to village water.
