Burr Ridge Restaurant Pushes Back Opening Date
A local competitor may have taken note of the new restaurant's planned cuisine.

BURR RIDGE, IL – Pella Signature restaurant is planning to open by the end of August, its spokeswoman said Monday.
In what promises to be Burr Ridge's largest restaurant, Pella says it will offer Mediterranean food.
One of Pella's competitors may have taken note. Filippo "Gigi" Rovito, owner of Burr Ridge's popular Capri Ristorante and Are We Live nightclub, is changing the name of Are We Live to Gazi Tapas By Gigi, and it is set to offer Mediterranean food.

The sign on Are We Live has already changed. But the business is still marketing online as Are We Live. Capri Ristorante's website says the new concept is coming soon.
Pella has had several delays in its planned opening. It is renovating the building at 720 Village Center Drive, in the old 13,000-square-foot space of LOFT and the Banana Republic.
