Crosstown Classic Tailgating Party and Dance Networking Tuesday Night

A large screen TV will be set up outside Fred Astaire in the County Line Square to see whether the Chicago White Sox or Chicago Cubs come out on top.

Nothing says summer like a barbecue, and the folks at in are hosting one Tuesday night, where people can come out and watch the Chicago White Sox battle the Chicago Cubs in the Crosstown Classic.

The event will double as a guest party, teaching newcomers the basics of East Coast Swing. For those of you who want to burn off some of the barbecue, a ballroom dance workout also will be offered indoors.

"It gives people exposure to this environment, who don't normally come to a dance space," said Michael Micek, manager at Fred Astaire. "It's a fun, healthy sport, so come on out."
