Donations Sought for Spring Rummage Sale at BRUCC Tomorrow

The will be holding its annual spring fair and rummage sale tomorrow, starting at 10 a.m.The annual fundraiser will feature a raffle of items donated by local businesses and will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

On site will be a large rummage sale, bake sale, plant sale and music concession. For entertainment, there will be pony rides, a petting zoo, a moon jump and face painting. A K-9 unit, fire truck and clowns also are scheduled to make an appearance during the event.

Donations are still needed for the event, as are volunteers. The church posted the following requests for all donations on its Facebook page:

•Please separate & label your bags/boxes, i.e. adult clothing, household, seasonal, linen, etc… (No computers, monitors, large appliances, mattress, tires, torn, stained or damaged furniture).
•Large item pick-up request to be made by calling Ann Fong to schedule appointment: 630-890-7762. Volunteers/vehicles are needed.
•Volunteers are the life line of our event. Consider giving us a few hours of your time before and during the event. Please say yes when you get the call or contact Susann Pedersen for commitment: 630-986-8230.
•Donation receipts are available for tax purposes. Please see Ann Fong.

The grand prize for the ultra prize raffle is a 42" LG 3-D Blue Ray TV The prize for the regular ticket raffle is a Corvette Notebook Computer
