DUIs Arrests and Other Traffic Crashes in Burr Ridge

The following information was provided by the Burr Ridge Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Driving under the influence

At about 6:43 a.m. on April 22, Delbert Blain, 38, of 8124 Manistee in Chicago, was stopped near the intersection of Plainfield and Hillcrest Street for failing to obey a traffic control light. subsequently arrested her for driving under the influence of alcohol, having no insurance and disobeying a traffic control light.

At about 1:27 a.m. on April 21, Andre Salinas of 315 West 59th Street in Hinsdale was stopped near the intersection of Plainfield Road and Kingswood for improper lane use. He was subsequently arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and having no insurance.

At about 5:30 p.m. on April 20, Charles Hampton of 10710 Lilac in unincorporated Hinsdale was stopped near the intersection of Route 83 and I-55. He was subsequently arrested and charged with driving with a license suspended, having a defective muffler and being in possesion of drug paraphernalia.

At about 12:59 a.m. on April 20,  4/20/12, a Hundai struck a BMW that stopped quickly near the intersection of Plainfield and County Line Roads. According to the police, injuries were reported, but no further information is available.

Driving with license suspended/revoked

At about 8:09 a.m. on April 20, Felipe Hernandez, 62, of 2939 Arden in Joliet was stopped at 16W505 South Frontage Road. He was subsequently arrested for driving with a  suspended, revoked Drivers License.

Accidents involving non-injury

At about 12:08 a.m. on April 22, a Nissan backed out of a parking space and struck a Mercedes Benz at 730 Village Center Drive

At about 5:41 p.m. on April 19, a BMW failed to yield while turning left and struck a Ford near the intersection of Burr Ridge Parkway and Bridewell Drive.
