First-Ever National Bike to School Day Today, Chance of Rain This Morning

2. Take it easy driving in school zones this morning. Today is the first-ever National Bike-to-School day. The event is listed as one of DuPage County's green initiatives. More than 700 bike-to-school events are taking place across 49 states today.

4. All the rain we've had lately is having an impact on our rivers. According to the National Weather Service, rivers in our area remain in flood or above bank levels. The NWS says there's a slight chance we're going to get showers this morning between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m., then there's a slight chance of sprinkles after 1 p.m. It's expected to be mostly cloudy today, with a high near 60. Tonight, it'll be partly cloudy, with a low around 42.
