Hinsdale Police Reports: Theft, Hit and Run, DUI, Vandalism

Hinsdale Police Department reported crimes through March 8.

Police were sent to a worker dispute Feb. 29 in the 600 block of Harding Road. A contractor reported his employer damaged the windows on his vehicle. The employer did not cooperate with police and resisted arrest. The employer was taken to the hospital for treatment of a previous injury, and charges are pending.

Cordarius D Clark, 25 of the 1100 block of S Kedzie in Chicago, was in possession of a stolen camera March 3 that belonged to Hinsdale Central High School, valued at $250. Clark had a warrant for failure to appear in court from a Melrose Park theft arrest. He posted bond on the original charge and the warrant and was released to appear in court.

Someone hit a parked car March 4 in a parking lot in the 400 block of W 8th Street.

Kelly Ray Pecha, 41 of the 22200 block of 86th Street in Salem, Wisconsin, was stopped March 4 for not having headlights on when required in the 900 block of N York Road. Pecha was observed to be under the influence of alcohol, and an open container of alcohol was found inside the car. Pecha submitted to testing that indicated he was over the legal limit. He was charged and released to appear in court.

Someone threw eggs at a house March 5 in the 200 block of E Third Street.

Police were dispatched to a witness report of a suspected intoxicated driver at Oak Street and Chicago Avenue. Miroslawa Chaudhry, 48 of the 500 block of W Lonnquist Boulevard in Mount Prospect, was seen to be under the influence of alcohol. She submitted to testing that indicated she was over the legal limit, and she was charged and released to appear in court.
